TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute production activities for the manufacturing of Solid Carbide Tools, Indexable Tools, and Special Purpose Cutting Tools to meet production targets.
  • Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes including CNC tool grinding, edge preparation, coating coordination, inspection, and packaging operations.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, delivery commitments, and cost objectives.
  • Analyze and improve machine utilization, cycle times, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Coordinate with Design, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely order execution.
  • Monitor tooling performance, process capability, and product quality to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Ensure proper utilization of machines, manpower, and materials to achieve optimal production costs.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by validating manufacturing processes and establishing production standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards within the manufacturing facility.
PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in cutting tools manufacturing, CNC grinding, precision machining, or tool production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Solid Carbide Cutting Tools, End Mills, Drills, Reamers, Taps, Indexable Tools, and Special Purpose Tools.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC Tool & Cutter Grinding Machines such as Surface, WALTER, Rollomatic, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of metal cutting principles, tool geometry, carbide grades, grinding processes, and tool manufacturing methods.
  • Knowledge of production planning, capacity utilization, process optimization, and shop floor management.
  • Familiarity with quality tools, SPC, GD&T, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
