Job summary

Konecranes is hiring a Trainee in Maharashtra to support sourcing, RFQ activities, and vendor coordination. You will assist in preparing RFQs, collect technical specs, and help manage purchase orders.

The role involves close interaction with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery. Ideal candidates hold a BE in Electrical and are eager to learn procurement processes, with readiness to visit suppliers and understand ISO 14001/45001 standards.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical engineering or related field.
• Familiar with procurement processes and supplier interactions.
• Willingness to learn and visit suppliers for on-site follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & RFQ Support: assist in preparing RFQs, gather specs, compare prices.
• Vendor Coordination: interact with suppliers for order follow-ups, lead times, delivery schedules.
• PO Management: create, update, and track purchase requisitions and POs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with engineering, QA, and production teams to match material requirements.
• Market Analysis: learn vendor evaluation, cost optimization, and track pricing trends.
• Closing PR-PO in time.
• Visiting Suppliers for close follow up
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
