• Circulate RBO updates among internal departments.
• Counter sample approvals.
• Develop new products and customers.
• Resolve customer queries related to product development.
• Assist in pricing of products.
• Maintain focus and respond to inquiries via email and phone using guidelines.
• Work within service levels and aim to exceed expectations.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts and coordinate with Hub and internal dept to set up articles/products early.
• Ensure queries are resolved within the time frame and elevate issues when needed.
• Maintain professional relations with internal and external customers and colleagues.
• Adhere to quality and productivity standards with high accuracy after validation.
• Assist in gathering business requirements for cost reduction through re-engineering.
• Update documents and Oracle with high accuracy after costing is collected.
• Sensitize client requirements and prioritize developments.
• Work as part of a team to meet objectives and share knowledge.

Job Description

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

• Smooth development of items for local supply
• Identify feasibly and cost-effective methods for product development
• Provide on-time estimates with the best production capability
• Initiate product re-engineering to be ahead of the competition
• Initiate and drive improvement of speed of developments through the ELS approach
• Circulation of RBO updates among internal departments
• Counter sample approvals
• Develop new products and customers
• Resolve customer queries related to product development
• Assist in the pricing of products
• Maintain Business focus at all times and respond to internal customers’ inquiries through e-mails and phone using the best practice guidelines.
• Work within agreed service levels, striving to exceed Organizations' expectations.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts and proactively follow through with Hub(overseas) and the internal department to set up the article/product at the earliest.
• Ensure all queries are resolved within the stipulated time frame and elevate issues if appropriate, to the Team Leader.
• Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers, and colleagues.
• Adhere to agreed standards of quality and productivity. Process all developments with a minimum 99% accuracy rate after proper validation.
• Assist in gathering business requirements and analysis activities to facilitate Continuous Improvement in Cost reduction by doing Re‑engineering.
• Update all relevant documents and Oracle with at least 99% accuracy after collecting costing from the Finance department.
• Sensitization of the client requirements and accordingly prioritize the developments.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team, and organizational objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.

Qualifications

A good knowledge of the industry also required. This position requires a detailed understanding of the technology, strategies, activities, status and goals of the company. Also needs to work in a customer account based environment and be capable of independently corresponding with the internal customers and other Avery Dennison sites overseas in relation to product development and marketing related activities.
