Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst for AI training to help build datasets and evaluation frameworks focused on security, risk, and compliance reasoning in a remote, hourly contract role.

You will review policies, evaluate frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS), and generate data to improve AI understanding of governance and compliance. This role suits someone with 2+ years in GRC who can work independently on asynchronous tasks and contribute to

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar.
• Ability to read policy documents, audit reports, and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate and classify compliance scenarios across frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation
• Generate and validate training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning on GRC topics
• Provide precise, structured written feedback that helps AI systems understand real-world compliance logic

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or a related field
• Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control frameworks
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication and analytical reasoning skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous, task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk management
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
