Alignerr Corp. seeks a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) to analyze SOC scenarios, classify alerts, and validate AI-driven detection logic in real-world security contexts.

This fully remote, hourly-contract role offers flexible hours (10–40 hrs/week) and the chance to influence AI training by providing structured feedback on investigation workflows and response actions.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows.
• Ability to articulate reasoning clearly in written form.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — incidents, alerts, and investigation workflows — to evaluate how AI systems reason through them.
• Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
• Review AI-generated detection logic and investigation outputs for accuracy and real-world alignment.
• Validate that AI responses reflect how skilled analysts detect, triage, and respond to threats.
• Provide structured feedback that improves AI model performance in security contexts.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — incidents, alerts, and investigation workflows — to evaluate how AI systems reason through them
• Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
• Review AI-generated detection logic and investigation outputs for accuracy and real-world alignment
• Validate that AI responses reflect how skilled analysts actually detect, triage, and respond to threats
• Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations roles
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows
• Sharp instinct for separating true security signals from noise and false positives
• Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in written form
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or the Cyber Kill Chain
• Background working across multiple SIEM or SOAR platforms
• Interest in AI systems and how they're trained and evaluated
