Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) to join a fully remote, hourly contract role. You will work on threat detection, alert triage, and incident response to shape AI systems’ understanding of cybersecurity threats.

You will analyze SOC scenarios, classify severities, review detection logic, and provide expert feedback to improve frontier AI models. 2+ years in SOC or IR is required, with strong SIEM familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role.
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes, and investigation workflows.
• Sharp instinct for separating genuine threats from noise and false positives.
• Clear written communicator who can articulate reasoning and findings concisely.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on async, task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — including alerts, incidents, and investigation workflows — to evaluate how AI systems respond.
• Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
