Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Technology Consultant to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

You will design future-state GCP architectures, guide application modernization, and serve as a trusted technical advisor across complex cloud programs for multinational clients. You will collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and delivery teams to shape scalable, secure solutions, evaluate GenAI and Vertex AI opportunities, and help define migration strategies

Qualifications

• 16–22 years of IT experience with enterprise architecture, cloud consulting, or application architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including compute, networking, IAM, security, storage, governance, observability, and managed services.
• Proficiency in GKE/Kubernetes, containers, and Cloud Run.
• Experience with application modernization and migration to microservices, containerized, API-driven, or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to pre-sales, RFPs, and architecture assessments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to assess landscapes and define future-state GCP architecture and transformation strategies.
• Advise on cloud-native adoption, migration, and modernization across enterprise scales.
• Define landing zones, shared VPCs, IAM policies, and governance for enterprise environments.
• Lead workload assessments and migration strategies including rehost, replatform, refactor, and re-architect.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and delivery for architecture workshops and client discussions.
