Job summary

IIFL Finance Ltd is seeking a Gold Appraiser at our Bhuj branch to handle the end-to-end gold loan process, from valuation to disbursal and closure, while delivering customer service at every step.

You will attend to walk-in customers, conduct gold valuations, pack and store gold packets after loan disbursal, and manage cash during disbursals and loan closures, ensuring KYC documents are properly stored.

Responsibilities

• Attending to walk-in customers, addressing queries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
• Conducting gold valuations and identifying gold purity accurately.
• Properly packing and storing gold and gold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers after loan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical) during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in system & modifications in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & LoanClosure.
• Maintain branch registers as per the guidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.
• Ensuring proper collection and storage of customer KYC documents.
• Following up with customers for timely collection of interest and principal payments.
• Providing good customer service at every step i.e. while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.
