Job summary

Benison Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software modules. You will guide junior engineers by reviewing code and designs to ensure high quality outputs and strong design adherence.

You will collaborate across teams, gather requirements, and own end-to-end features, leveraging Go or Python, SOA/SaaS, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable solutions.

Job description

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of software modules owned by a team. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their code and designs to ensure that they are writing well designed and high quality code. This role requires good communication skills, as you will need to collaborate across teams.

Key Skills

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in a product company.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Go or Python
• Excellent programming skills, along with Data structures, Algorithms, and Concepts
• Experience in working with SoA (Service-oriented Architecture) and SaaS
• Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)
• Experience with API integrations at scale (preferred)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum etc.
• Knowledge of the Backup domain will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes will be an advantage
