Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited in Pune seeks a General Manager- M3 SAP SCM & ERP to lead end-to-end SAP SCM module delivery, including MM, EWM and ARIBA, across multiple programs. You will own project scope, timelines, budget, risks, and governance, coordinating with SAP, system integrators, and vendors.

The role emphasizes data migration, cutover, SIT/UAT, and post-go-live optimization, with a strong focus on compliance, change management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Engineering/Technology graduate; MBA is a plus.
12+ years total experience; 7+ years in SAP SCM/MM/EWM/ARIBA.
Strong program and vendor management skills.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades and integration.
Certified in ITIL/PRINCE2/CSM/PMP is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP SCM/ERP programs for multiple initiatives.
Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and governance.
Coordinate with SAP, SI partners and vendors.
Drive data migration, cutover and go-live readiness.
Oversee SIT/UAT planning and defect management.
Ensure compliance with audits and regulatory requirements.

Job Purpose

To lead SAP SCM module end-to-end for various programs/Initiatives and drive different projects across ERP & Non-ERP applications under ESS portfolio

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Good Experience in SAP SCM module (MM, EWM, ARIBA)
Lead end-to-end implementations, upgrade, Development and support projects
Experience in S4 HANA Version Upgrade
Own project scope, timelines, budget, risks, governance and project plan
Good knowledge and experience required on integration with Cloud applications and other non-SAP applications like integration through SFTP, API, and other channels.
Open to manage other tracks/programs proactively along with SAP S/4HANA
Act as single point of contact for business stakeholders
Coordinate with system integrators, SAP, and third-party vendors
Ensure integrations with internal and external systems
Ensure compliance with audit, and statutory requirements
Drive Business requirement discussion, fit-gap analysis, solution design approvals and functional sign-offs
Manage data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities
Lead SIT/UAT planning, defect management, and go-live readiness
Drive change management, training, and user adoption
Ensure smooth hyper care and transition to support teams & contribute to post–go-live optimization
Lead cross-functional teams and resolve escalations in timely manner
Identify, plan, implement automation and initiatives across Enterprise support system portfolio
Ensure delivery within agreed cost, quality, and timeline
Monitor project and Drive meeting, and share status report to stakeholders as required
Effective participation in governance forums and business teams
Good engagement with business teams on IT projects delivery/operation within area of responsibility
Create and Drive strategic/excellence Initiatives and delivering key business imperatives
Delivery of 100% of data needed for regulatory/audit/compliance purpose as per agreed timelines with strong compliance record
Ensure proper Project guidelines and benchmarks gets followed
Positive vendor partnerships within area of responsibility
Drive end-to-end service delivery, system availability, performance and related KPIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and infrastructure partners to align and ensure timely resolution of application issues
Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), Automation & Enhancement strategies and proactive monitoring to improvise operational efficiency.
Support strategic IT initiatives by aligning application performance with evolving business requirements and digital transformation/AI goals.
