Responsibilities

• Create complete material and product traceability from raw materials to dispatch.
• Prepare plant for customer, certification, statutory and international audits.
• Improve productivity, machine availability, delivery performance and quality.
• Establish daily dashboards, reviews, escalation, and accountability across departments.
• Train teams on ISO systems, safety, quality and operational discipline.

Job description

Pasondia Cables Pvt. Ltd., established in 1999, is expanding its production capacity and strengthening its manufacturing systems for the next phase of global growth.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on GM – Plant & Operations to lead the professionalisation and day-to-day performance of our manufacturing plant in Ghaziabad.

The person will be responsible for establishing disciplined plant operations, proper ISO implementation, workplace organisation, traceability, audit readiness and measurable operational improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production, planning, maintenance, stores, dispatch, safety and workforce discipline.
• Implement ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in actual plant operations, including SOPs, records, internal audits and corrective actions.
• Introduce and sustain 5S, Kaizen, visual management and continuous-improvement systems.
• Establish complete traceability from raw material receipt through production, testing, packing and dispatch.
• Prepare the plant for customer, certification, statutory and international audits.
• Improve productivity, machine availability, delivery performance, quality, scrap, rework and downtime.
• Establish daily dashboards, review meetings, escalation systems and departmental accountability.
• Conduct regular training on ISO systems, safety, quality, 5S and operational discipline.
• Support capacity expansion, new machinery implementation and development of a professional manufacturing culture.
• Coordinate effectively with Technical, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Commercial and HR teams.

Candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the cable or conductor industry.
• At least five years in plant leadership or a major manufacturing operations role.
• Demonstrated hands-on implementation of ISO systems, 5S, Kaizen, traceability and audit readiness.
• Strong leadership, workforce-management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must be comfortable working full-time on-site at Ghaziabad.

Candidates with only certificate-level ISO exposure, without practical implementation experience, may not be suitable for this role.
