Job summary

Innover Digital in Bangalore, Karnataka is seeking a Global Trade Analyst Lead with 6+ years of experience in HTS/ECCN classifications, export/import compliance, and auditing. You will review BOMs and part descriptions to categorize materials under global trade schemes.

You will apply knowledge of US trade regulations, FTZs, FTAs, and sanctioned party screening, coordinating with Foreign Trade to ensure accurate classifications and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of semiconductor or comparable industries, including familiarity with Bills of Materials.
• Reading technical specifications, engineering drawings, and datasheets.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with SAP-GTS, Advanced Excel, Power Apps and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Review parts specifications, BOMs, descriptions, and external websites to categorize Lam Materials into predefined Global Trade categories.
• Review HTS classifications for mechanical, electrical, and electronics items.
• Designate a category to each part and align with global trade designations.
• Engage Foreign Trade for periodic reviews and feedback on categorizations.
• Alert Foreign Trade of parts that do not conform to existing designations.
• Perform Import/Export Customs entry audits across regions (US, Europe, Asia).
• Know US regulations on international Import/Export Trade and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
• Knowledge of US FTZ and Malaysia LMW processes.

Position Title: Global Trade Analyst Lead

Years of Experience: Minimum 6 years of Experience

Job Experience : working Experience in HTS/ECCN Product Classification, GTS release, sanctioned party screening, Export/Import Auditing and global Trade compliance

Educational: Typically requires a 6-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Certification in global trade/Trade Compliance/Logistics

Job Description/Primary Responsibilities

• Experience in US Export compliance and Asia Regional compliance
• Responsibilities include review of parts specifications, bills of materials(BOM), descriptions, and external web sites to categorize Lam Materials into categories that have been previously defined by Global Trade. These categories correspond to tariff classifications in countries where Lam does business
• Reviewing individual parts & Harmonized Tariff Schedule(HTS) classification for different kind of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics items (semiconductor Industry)
• Designating a category to each respective part,
• Engaging Foreign Trade on periodic review to align on categorizations, and
• Alerting Foreign Trade of parts that do not conform to any existing designations
• Foreign Trade will provide initial instruction on job expectations and ongoing feedback on how to interpret the categories for which Lam Materials will be assigned.
• Import/Export Customs entry audit for all regions(US, Europe, Asia)
• Knowledge on US Government regulations on all aspects of International Import/Export Trade
• Knowledge on Free Trade Agreement and validate eligibilities (KORUS, USMCA, AKFTA etc)
• Knowledge on US FTZ (Free Trade Zone) & Malaysia LMW process(Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse)
• Sanctioned party screening

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job

• Technical knowledge of semiconductor or comparable industries, including familiarity with Bills of Materials
• Familiarity with reading technical specifications, engineering drawing, datasheets
• Detailed oriented, strong analytical skills, and agility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
