Job summary

Zalaris in Pune/India is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to join the payroll team and ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery across multiple countries. You will manage employee data, process inputs, respond to payroll queries, and generate reports while ensuring compliance with local requirements.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of payroll operations experience, hands-on SAP Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors expertise, strong communication skills in English, and proficiency in Excel for

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations with exposure to multiple EMEA/EU countries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Payroll (SAP HCM) and SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central/Employee Central Payroll).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; fluent in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Registration and maintenance of employee data (new hires, changes, terminations, tax information, pension control).
• Maintenance of organizational structure.
• Absence/attendance registration and handling.
• Registration of payroll data input (deductions, benefits, bonuses, new salaries).
• Preparation and delivery of reports.
• Handling service requests through C4C system and inquiries by phone.
• Producing the contracts and other employment related documentation Maintaining physical and/or electronic archive
• To solve problems and be a case manager for complex multi-functional issues.
• Train and guide other team members.
• Performing any additional tasks, linked to the primary scope of the position.
