Job summary

Teceze India is seeking an experienced Global Immigration & Visa Specialist to own the end-to-end immigration lifecycle for Directors, employees and client deployments. You will coordinate with immigration consultants, manage timelines, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires 3–5 years in global mobility, strong vendor management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accurate documentation and dashboards for management

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in global immigration, visa processing, global mobility or corporate immigration.
• Practical experience managing multiple countries and visa categories.
• Strong understanding of US and European immigration processes, particularly B1/B2, L1 and Germany-related visas/work permits.
• Experience working with immigration consultants, law firms and visa agents.
• Strong vendor identification, commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Global Immigration & Visa Specialist / SPOC to take complete ownership of our organization's global visa and immigration requirements for Directors, employees, engineers, consultants and client/project deployments.

This is an end-to-end ownership role. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the process from understanding the visa requirement to identifying the right immigration route, appointing and negotiating with immigration agents, obtaining management approval, initiating the application, tracking the visa, managing post-visa compliance and ensuring timely renewals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end visa and immigration processes across multiple countries.
• Handle and coordinate visa requirements such as USA B1/B2, L1, Germany visas/permits, D8 and other business/work visa categories.
• Understand the purpose of travel, employment structure, client/project requirements and identify the appropriate visa/immigration route.
• Research country-specific immigration requirements and provide preliminary guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard suitable immigration consultants, lawyers and visa agents.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple agents/service providers.
• Negotiate professional fees, government charges, timelines and service terms.
• Prepare visa/immigration proposals and obtain necessary Management approvals before initiating the process.
• Coordinate end-to-end documentation with employees, Directors, HR, Legal, Finance and Business teams.
• Initiate applications and coordinate with immigration agents, embassies, consulates and relevant authorities.
• Track applications, appointments, biometrics, interviews, approvals and pending requirements.
• Proactively follow up with applicants and external service providers to ensure timely completion.
• Manage immigration requirements for Directors, senior management, employees and client/project resources.
• Support client-specific visa and deployment requirements.
• Ensure the proposed work/activity is aligned with the applicable immigration authorization and elevate potential compliance risks.
• Maintain complete and accurate immigration records and supporting documentation.
• Maintain a centralized Global Visa & Immigration Tracker covering applications, approvals, expiry dates, renewals, costs and compliance status.
• Monitor visa/work permit/residence permit expiry dates and initiate renewals well in advance.
• Ensure zero avoidable visa/permit expiries or immigration compliance lapses.
• Maintain post-visa compliance records, including validity, permitted stay, work authorization and assignment-related requirements.
• Manage immigration vendors, monitor SLAs, review invoices and negotiate costs where required.
• Prepare periodic immigration dashboards and reports for Management.
• Develop and maintain country-wise visa checklists, SOPs and immigration process documentation.
• Maintain an Immigration Risk Register and elevate high-risk cases to Legal/Management.
• Continuously research changes in immigration regulations and communicate relevant changes internally.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to independently manage the complete process without depending on HR or Management for routine follow-ups.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple visa cases simultaneously and work with strict timelines.
• Strong understanding of immigration compliance and risk management.
• Experience supporting international employee/client deployments will be an advantage.
