Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safety, profitability and on-time delivery in line with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

You will manage factory interfaces, create 3D models in Primtech, prepare BOMs in SPIRIDON, draw project manufacturing and site documents, and support procurement across multiple substations in India and abroad.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer with Diploma (5–6 years) or Graduate (2–3 years) experience.
• Hands-on factory interface design for Gas Insulated Substations.
• Proficient in Excel and AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Sound knowledge of international and Indian standards.
• Design experience on GIS projects.

Lead end-to-end execution of 220 kV GIS/AIS substation projects, ensuring safe, profitable and on-time delivery in compliance with customer, contractual, quality and EHS requirements.

How Youll Make an Impact

• You’ll be handling Factory & Procurement related engineering activities.
• You’ll be preparing 3D Model of GIS substation using A-CAD based PLM tool (Primtech)
• You’ll be preparing Bill of Material using SPIRIDON
• You’ll be preparing Project specific Manufacturing & Site drawings
• You’ll be providing technical Support to Procurement & Manufacturing related queries
• You’ll be working for multiple projects / substations in India and abroad.
• You’ll be working for High Voltage Manufacturing Hub.

What You Bring

• You are an Electrical Engineer (Diploma with 5-6 years of work experience / Graduate with 2-3 years of work experience)
• You have hands-on experience in Factory Interface design engineering for Gas Insulated Substation
• You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD 2D/3D tools.
• Youve sound technical knowledge of international and Indian standards.
• Youve hands on design experience for at least 4-5 GIS projects.

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA).
