Job summary

Kumaran Systems, Hyderabad, is seeking a seasoned GIS software engineer to migrate legacy ArcObjects code to ArcGIS Pro CoreHost and to modernize aviation GIS workflows for airport features such as runways, taxiways, and networks.

The role centers on developing and optimizing geometry processing—buffer, intersect, union, and reprojection—and building automated data import/export pipelines (shapefiles, geodatabases, Oracle).

Qualifications

• Strong C# expertise across .NET Framework and .NET 8 with async/await and LINQ.
• Expertise in ArcObjects and ArcGIS Pro SDK; GIS data concepts and analysis.
• Experience with performance optimization and memory management.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and server configuration.
• Familiarity with SQL/PLSQL and spatial databases.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy ArcObjects-based code to ArcGIS Pro CoreHost.
• Develop and optimize geometry processing (buffer, intersect, union, reprojection).
• Build automated data import/export pipelines (shapefiles, geodatabases, Oracle).
• Develop headless CLI/console applications with Python/ArcPy integration.
