Job summary

Softtech Engineers in Pune (Baner) seeks a GIS Developer with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise GIS solutions. You will build and maintain GIS applications using Python, .NET, ReactJS and ESRI technologies for web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities include publishing GIS data as services, managing geospatial datasets, and integrating various databases. Proficiency with ArcGIS Online/Portal, ArcGIS Pro and OpenLayers is required. Pune-based, full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in GIS development and enterprise integration solutions.
• Experience with ESRI technology including ArcGIS Pro, Server, Online and WebApp Builder.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, JavaScript (ReactJS) and HTML5/CSS.
• Experience publishing GIS data and services over the web (ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Online).
• Knowledge of spatial data formats (GeoJSON, SQL Spatial, shapefiles) and ETL tools (FME).
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP and SOA architectures; cross-browser compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and implement enterprise GIS integration solutions using Python, ReactJS, C#, JavaScript and ESRI tech.
• Maintain GIS applications built with ArcGIS extensions (ArcServer, OpenLayers).
• Work with large geospatial datasets and ensure data interoperability across systems.
• Develop links between databases using Arcpy, XML parsing, SQL and ETL workflows like FME.
• Publish data as web services and develop GIS workflows for web/mobile solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• 4+ years of experience develop, designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions for ArcGIS Enterprise using Python, React JS, C#, JavaScript and Hands on experience in ESRI Technology developing ESRI City Engine, ArcGIS Pro, Web & Mobile solutions.
• Maintain and develop GIS applications using c#, built with ArcGIS extensions, ArcServer and OpenLayers and Must have worked on web-based GIS system (well versed with publishing data over the web as a service).
• Experience working with large geospatial data sets, Data interoperability and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME).
• Experience working with spatial datasets like GeoJSON, SQL Server Spatial, Esri ArcSDE, file geodatabases, shape files, or KML preferred. Enterprise RDBMS databases using SQL development environments.
• Use strong expertise in various GIS software (primarily ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Online and WebAppBuilder), as well as various geographic data formats and standard data conversion and transformation methods, for geographic analysis.
• Experience developing and maintaining links between various databases and simple applications and scripts, and uses existing scripts in ArcPy, XML Parsing, SQL, and ETL toolsets like FME.
• Knowledge of the development and management required for REST and SOAP implementations and understanding of SOA and Enterprise service bus.
• Hands on experience in cross browser compatible application development and developing, designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions for ArcGIS Enterprise using JavaScript and Hands on experience in ESRI Technology developing ESRI City Engine and ArcGIS Pro for Web & Mobile solutions.
• Maintain and develop GIS applications using c#, built with ArcGIS extensions, ArcServer and OpenLayers.
• Well versed with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Date Store; Experience managing multiuser GIS licenses, systems, databases, and environments.
• Fluency in ESRI suite of software, including ArcGIS Pro, Web App Builder Developer and custom widgets development.
• Experience working with spatial datasets like GeoJSON, SQL Server Spatial, Esri ArcSDE, file geodatabases, shape files or KML.
• Create, modify, and maintain custom scripts and routines for GIS processes automation and applications using ArcGIS API for Python and arcpy.
• Enterprise RDBMS databases using SQL development environments.
