Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience with payroll systems, payroll processing, and/or HRIS platforms (ADP, Paychex, Deel, SAP, Workday, or similar preferred)
• Fluency in German
• Good understanding of: German tax laws, Social security rules
• Collective agreements (Tarifverträge), Wage types and statutory benefits
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Processing and reviewing/analysis of end-to-end payroll to completion.
• Maintain employment records and individually handle HR related queries.
• Attention to details and excellent analytical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a demanding environment
• Elevated level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees according to client pay calendar/schedule
• Review and validate timekeeping records, payroll adjustments, and employee changes
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and taxes
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with required statutory and country/site regulations
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, benefits, and employee updates
