Job summary

Alpauls in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat, seeks a General Manager (GM) – Projects to lead the complete end-to-end setup and construction of laboratory facilities. You will drive civil/MEP/HVAC, ensure efficient layouts, and guarantee compliance with GLP, ISO, NABL and FDA guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 12–18 years of experience in lab construction, turnkey cleanrooms, or pharma infrastructure, with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of experience in lab construction or turnkey pharma infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading end-to-end lab setups with compliance to global standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle lab construction (civil, MEP, HVAC, cleanrooms) from design to handover.
• Ensure layouts optimize workflow and comply with GLP, ISO, NABL, and FDA guidelines.
• Source contractors, negotiate terms, and manage costs within budget.
• Oversee cross-functional site teams and act as main contact for stakeholders.

Experience: 12 to 18 years

Salary: Up to ₹20 LPA

Education: B.E./B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical)

Expertise: Deep knowledge of lab specialized fit-outs, fume hoods, HVAC zoning, and safety ergonomics.

Target Profile: Proven track record in full laboratory setup, turnkey cleanrooms, or pharma infrastructure engineering.

Target Industry: Laboratory Construction, Turnkey Cleanroom/Lab Setup, Pharma/Biotech Infrastructure Engineering, or specialized EPC firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle lab construction (civil, MEP, HVAC, gas distribution, cleanrooms) from design to handover.
• Ensure layouts optimize workflow and strictly comply with GLP, ISO, NABL, and FDA guidelines.
• Source contractors, negotiate techno-commercial terms, and manage project costs within budget.
• Oversee cross-functional site teams and act as the main point of contact for stakeholders.
