Job Purpose
To lead and oversee the financial management, governance, compliance, reporting, and strategic financial planning of Karamtara Engineering's overseas subsidiaries. The role will ensure robust financial controls, regulatory compliance, business performance monitoring, and alignment of subsidiary operations with the Group's global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function for all overseas subsidiaries and international business entities.
- Drive financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across global operations.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations, IFRS, taxation requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Oversee inter-company transactions, reconciliations, transfer pricing, and cross-border financial arrangements.
- Manage treasury operations, foreign exchange exposure, working capital, and cash flow planning for overseas entities.
- Coordinate with international auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Support strategic initiatives including overseas expansion, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring activities.
- Review subsidiary financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI guidelines, international taxation regulations, and group policies.
- Develop and strengthen financial controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes across subsidiaries. Present financial and operational performance reports to the Board, Directors, and senior leadership team.
- Partner with business heads and country management teams to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple geographies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA Finance preferred.
- 15–20+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Global Finance, or International Business Finance.
- Proven experience managing foreign subsidiaries, international accounting, and cross-border transactions.
- Strong knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, FEMA, transfer pricing, international taxation, and treasury management.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, steel, renewable energy, or multinational organizations preferred.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
