You will oversee reporting to Principal/HQ, budgeting, audits, tax compliance, cash flow, and internal controls, while guiding a Finance & Accounts team across branches. SAP expertise and strong governance are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10+ years in Finance & Accounts.
• Experience in shipping or logistics industry preferred.
• Expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead audits, budgeting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Finance & Accounts operations for shipping agency business.
• Manage Principal/HQ reporting, PCA reconciliation, agency commission, funding, and financial performance reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS, profitability analysis, and management reporting.
• Ensure effective credit control, receivables management, and cash flow planning.
• Handle statutory compliance, GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor vessel-related expenses, PDA reviews, and shipping operational financial controls.
• Lead month-end/year-end closing, financial accounting, and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements, ERP utilization (SAP), and finance automation initiatives.
• Manage relationships with Principals, auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities.
• Lead and develop Finance & Accounts team while overseeing administrative operations across branch locations.
