Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15–22 years of manufacturing experience in beverages, dairy or large-scale FMCG.
• Experience leading high-speed beverage processing and packaging operations.
• Exposure to cans, glass bottles, PET/PP bottles, UHT/aseptic systems or retort.
• Strong understanding of OEE, TPM, Lean Manufacturing and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end beverage manufacturing across processing, filling and packaging operations.
• Drive production performance across multiple packaging formats (cans, glass, PET).
• Improve OEE, yields, line efficiency, wastage, changeover times and conversion costs.
• Strengthen production planning and shop-floor management.

• Identify debottlenecking, automation and capacity-expansion opportunities.
• Ensure high standards of quality, food safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance.
• Lead commercialization and scale-up of new beverage products and SKUs.

General Manager – Beverage Manufacturing & Operations

Location: Manda, Dist. Sikar, Rajasthan

Industry: Dairy / Beverages / Food Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing leader to head Beverage Manufacturing & Operations at our large, integrated dairy and beverage manufacturing facility.

The plant manufactures fresh dairy products, ghee, milk powders, and a growing portfolio of ready-to-drink beverages across glass bottles, cans and plastic bottles.

As our beverage operations continue to grow significantly in scale and complexity, we are looking for a senior leader who can take end-to-end ownership of beverage operations while also driving operational excellence initiatives across the wider plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end beverage manufacturing across processing, filling, and packaging operations.
• Drive production performance across multiple packaging formats including cans, glass bottles, and plastic bottles.
• Improve OEE, yields, line efficiency, wastage, changeover times, and conversion costs.
• Strengthen production planning, shop-floor management, and operating discipline.
• Work closely with Engineering to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and line availability.
• Identify and execute debottlenecking, automation, and capacity-expansion opportunities.
• Ensure high standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead commercialization and scale-up of new beverage products and SKUs.
• Support manufacturing requirements for both company-owned brandsand major contract-manufacturing customers.
• Lead selected plant-wide operational excellence and productivity initiatives.
• Build and develop a strong team of Production Managers, Engineers, Shift Managers and Supervisors.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, NPD, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Contribute to long-term manufacturing strategy, including capacity planning, technology upgrades, and capability development.

Candidate Profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15–22 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in beverages, dairy, or large-scale food/FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong experience managing high-speed beverage processing and packaging operations.
• Exposure to multiple packaging technologies such as cans, glass bottles, PET/PP bottles, UHT/aseptic systems, and/or retort would be highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of OEE, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, manufacturing cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary manufacturing teams.
• Experience with major FMCG customers, customer audits and/or contract manufacturing would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and people-leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into clear manufacturing priorities, KPIs and execution plans.
