The candidate will lead data science teams, ensure timely project delivery, and present insights to senior government leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.

• Drive the development of large-scale datasets, AI/ML models, and data-driven solutions for government use cases.
• Collaborate with Central Ministries, State Departments, and industry stakeholders to identify and address key problem statements.
• Lead and mentor data science teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects aligned with IndiaAI's strategic objectives.
• Present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• 15+ years of experience, including 7+ years in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML, statistical modeling, Python, R, SQL, and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
• Experience leading data science teams and delivering large-scale AI projects.
• Government/public sector experience and relevant AI, Data Science, or Cloud certifications are preferred.
