Job Title: General Management Trainee (Intern)

Puŕ Ferme Project (pronounced Pure Farm Project) is a functional food consumer brand focused on clean, science-backed products with incubation support from NutriHub IIMR and CFTRI Mysuru, iACE, MANAGE-CIA and one the select few innovative startups under APEDA’s BHARATI program to access export markets. We are focused on building a transparent, farmer-connected food brand to take high-quality, traceable Indian food products to global markets. Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate/ Post Graduate student to join our team as a General Management Intern. This role is meant for a candidate who is highly analytical and entrepreneurial and supports our expansion journey. This is a cross-functional strategic role that sits at the intersection of finance, marketing, strategy, and operations.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop and grow into a full-time Founder’s Office role.

Work directly with the Founder and Operate from the Founder’s Lens to:

• Build a expansion roadmap balancing speed, profitability, and brand positioning
• Shape a relevant yet locally adaptable brand narrative across markets
• Create market entry playbooks for (GTM strategy, partnerships, compliance pathways)
• Solve for cross-border operational challenges across supply chain, logistics, and compliance
• Contribute to investor narratives and strategic storytelling around global expansion
• Lay the foundation for a scalable, repeatable export engine for the company

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Projects (Founder’s Office Exposure):
• Work directly with founders on expansion strategy
• Build dashboards and reports for export performance tracking
• Contribute to investor communication
• Take ownership of high-impact cross-functional projects
• Analyze market size, demand trends, competition, pricing benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
• Identify high-potential geographies and entry strategies (distributors, D2C and B2B partnerships)
• Build go-to-market (GTM) strategies for each channel D2C, E-comm & Q-comm
• Conduct research and intiate export markets breakthroughs (Middle East, Southeast Asia, etc.)
• Finance & Commercial Strategy:
• Work on unit economics across online and offline channels (Cost structure, contribution margins efficiency, etc.)
• Analyze financial viability of new markets, SKUs, and distribution channels
• Assist in managing export incentives, subsidies, and compliance documentation
• Marketing & Brand Localization:
• Adapt brand positioning while maintaining core identity
• Develop market-specific marketing strategies and communication frameworks
• Analyze global consumer behavior and align product-market fit
• Business Development & Partnerships:
• Identify and engage with international distributors, importers, and partners
• Support participation in global trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B meetings
• Build and maintain a pipeline of export opportunities
• Assist in closing deals and managing key international relationships
• Export Operations & Compliance:
• Coordinate end-to-end export processes (documentation, logistics, shipment tracking)
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, packaging, labeling norms
• Work with logistics partners for cost optimization and supply chain efficiency

Qualifications:

• Sharp Graduate in Engineering interested in working in a startup acorss multiple disciplines or /Postgraduate in Business, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
