Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Gen AI Agentic AI Engineer for our Pune team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying intelligent AI solutions leveraging LLMs, MCP integrations, and multi-agent architectures.

You will collaborate with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Teams to build scalable backend services with Python, and deploy AI workloads in AWS. The position offers hybrid work in Pune and opportunities to work with cutting-edge AI

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in software development and AI solutions.
• 3+ years hands-on Generative AI development.
• At least 6 months with agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Build multi-agent systems using LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Implement and manage Agentic AI workflows with autonomous decision making.

We are seeking an experienced Gen AI Agentic AI Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, along with hands‑on expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and multi‑agent systems. This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying intelligent AI solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI architectures, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Build intelligent multi‑agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Implement and manage Agentic AI workflows capable of autonomous decision‑making and task orchestration.
• Develop MCP‑based integrations to enable seamless communication between AI agents, applications, and enterprise systems.

Expertise You’ll Bring:

• 6 to 10 years of overall experience in software development, Machine Learning, and AI solutions.
• Strong background in Machine Learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and Deep Learning concepts.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in Generative AI application development.
• At least 6 months of practical experience working with Agentic AI frameworks and multi‑agent systems.
• Strong expertise with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing complex multi‑agent architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and agent communication frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python for AI application development and backend engineering.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration techniques.
• Experience integrating AI models into enterprise applications and production systems.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud‑based AI deployments.
• Experience with Git, source control practices, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience deploying and supporting AI applications in production environments.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in Agile development environments.
