Job summary

Persistent is seeking an experienced GenAI Agents Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale GenAI Agent initiatives in Pune. You will combine strong project management with GenAI/AI/ML knowledge to deliver multiple engagements across the stack.

You will define scope, schedule, budgets, and governance, mentor teams, and report progress to leadership. The role requires 8–12 years of technology program management experience and a track record with AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in project or program management within technology-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with GenAI Agents and related enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications.
• Experience working in client-facing roles and managing senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of AI solution lifecycle management and enterprise-scale implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple GenAI Agent projects from inception to delivery.
• Define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and roadmaps.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, architects, PMs, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate governance and status meetings; ensure transparency.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster high performance.
• Track KPIs and dashboards for leadership review.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methods as needed.

What You'll Do:
