General Mills Inc. recherche un/une Logistics Manager – Global Emerging Markets basé à Mumbai dans un cadre hybride. Vous dirigerez les opérations d'expédition océanique, négocierez les contrats et piloterez les initiatives de transformation CTS et de digitalisation des flux.

Le candidat idéal possède 5+ années en logistique/Ocean Freight, avec une expérience démontrée en amélioration de service client, analyse coûts et gestion de projets internationaux. MBA serait apprécié.

Qualifications

• Expérience 5+ ans en Logistique/Ocean Freight ou Service Client orienté Supply Chain.
• Compréhension robuste de la chaîne d'approvisionnement de bout en bout.
• Compétences en numératie et en analyse des coûts et services.

Responsibilities

• Mener les opérations d'expédition océanique de bout en bout, négociation avec les transporteurs et gestion des contrats.
• Diriger la mise en œuvre et l'adoption de Project44 pour le suivi et la performance.
• Conduire les initiatives CTS et la simplification des processus O2C et supply chain.
• Collaborer avec les marchés et les équipes globales pour standardiser les processus et améliorer l'efficacité.
• Soutenir le service client, assurer la conformité et la transparence des indicateurs de performance.

The position partners closely with market supply chain teams, global sourcing, customer service, and digital & technology (D&T) teams to drive cost efficiency, service reliability, digitization, process standardization and scalable supply chain capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesOcean Freight Strategy & Execution• Lead end-to-end ocean freight operations, including carrier negotiations, contract management, tender alignment, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Operations Efficiency.• Own and manage ocean freight performance governance, ensuring service reliability, cost optimization, and compliance with contractual terms.• Act as the primary escalation point for ocean freight–related risks and disruptions, driving timely resolution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.• Partner with Global Sourcing to ensure freight contracts, tenders, and commercial agreements are in place and effectively deployed across markets.• Collaborate with market supply chain leaders to address carrier performance gaps and continuously improve service levels.Digital Enablement & Visibility• Lead and manage project44 implementation and adoption for ocean freight tracking, visibility, and performance management.• Drive usage of digital visibility tools to improve proactive exception management, decision-making, and KPI tracking.• Identify opportunities for further digitization and automation across freight execution and logistics workflows.Cost-to-Serve (CTS) Transformation• Partner with market supply chain teams to identify cost-to-serve improvement opportunities across transportation, warehousing, and order fulfilment.• Collaborate with SC leaders to ensure cost-savings targets are defined, tracked, and delivered, supporting both short-term initiatives and long-term structural improvements.• Lead cost-to-serve reviews, developing insights, recommendations, and executive-ready leadership presentations.• Partner with international CTS teams to drive standardization and simplification of supply chain processes across Global Emerging Markets.Order-to-Cash & Process Simplification• Identify and lead initiatives to simplify and digitize the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, reducing manual effort, variability, and cycle times.• Partner with Digital & Technology (D&T) teams to source, design, and implement scalable digital solutions across GEMs.• Drive harmonization of supply chain processes to improve consistency, control, and scalability.Customer Service & Stakeholder Collaboration• Work closely with customer service teams to ensure quarter-end RNS delivery and mitigate service risks.• Support and lead EDI implementation with distributors and suppliers to improve data accuracy, speed, and reliability.• Partner with customer service teams to standardize Incoterms across GEMs, improving clarity of ownership, cost allocation, and execution accountability.• Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across markets, regions, and global teams. Key Skills & Capabilities Functional & Technical• Graduate from a top-tier business school (MBA preferred)• 5+ year experience in Logistics/Ocean Freight/Customer Service focussed, Supply Chain roles• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain• Hands-on experience with digitization, supply chain systems, and visibility tools• Solid analytical capability to assess cost, performance, and service trade-offs. Transformation & Leadership• Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across multiple markets.• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrixed, global environment.• Experience translating data and insights into clear executive-level presentations and recommendations• Structured problem-solving mind-set with a focus on simplification and standardization.
