Job summary

Rockman is seeking a skilled worker for aluminium furnace operations in an industrial setting. The role covers melting, holding, and precise temperature control, plus spectrometer-based composition checks and degassing testing.

You will help reduce dross and optimize metal recovery while monitoring energy use and adhering to safety SOPs. The ideal candidate will also manage furnace maintenance, engage in metal treatment and grain refinement, and handle scrap and charge optimization to support

Qualifications

• Operations in aluminium foundry environments including melting, holding and temperature control.
• Experience with spectrometry, chemical composition control and degassing processes.
• Familiar with Dross reduction and metal recovery improvement techniques.
• Awareness of energy consumption and safety SOPs in metal plants.
• Ability to manage furnace maintenance, relining and preventive tasks.
