Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced GCP Solution Architect to design, govern, and deliver scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes end-to-end solution design, cloud modernization, governance, and stakeholder alignment.

You will lead architecture design using GCP services such as GKE, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, and API Gateway, ensuring security, performance, and cost efficiency across data, application, and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years designing on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience as a GCP Solution Architect or Cloud Architect.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration.
• Hands-on experience with GCP compute, data, integration, and AI/ML services.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions on GCP across data, application, integration, and AI/ML workloads.
• Create reference architectures, solution blueprints, and design patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead cloud adoption initiatives including migration, modernization, and cloud-native development.
• Ensure non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, resilience, performance, and cost efficiency are met.
• Design architectures using GCP services including Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, and API Gateway.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, VPC design, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Act as a technical advisor to delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Review and guide solution designs and present architecture proposals to senior stakeholders.

The role requires strong architectural depth, hands-on cloud experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into enterprise-ready cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP workloads on GCP including SAP BW, ECC, or S/4HANA
• Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI solution architectures
• Multi-cloud experience on AWS or Azure
• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect
