Job summary

Malomatia seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to design scalable GCP solutions, lead architecture discussions, and drive cloud adoption initiatives. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to define architecture and deployment strategies, craft high-level and low-level designs, and guide PoCs and migrations.

Ideal candidates have extensive GCP expertise, strong networking and security knowledge, and a Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing cloud solutions on GCP.
• Experience delivering cloud adoption and migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Networking, IAM, Security, Storage, Monitoring on GCP.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and workshops.
• Experience with pre-sales activities, client presentations, and PoCs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Lead cloud architecture discussions, solution design sessions, and technical workshops.
• Gather business and technical requirements and prepare high-level and low-level solution designs.
• Conduct cloud assessments, architecture reviews, and migration planning for cloud transformation projects.
• Develop technical proposals, solution documents, architecture diagrams, and cost estimations.
• Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and recommend cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with pre-sales teams on client presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal development.
• Ensure solutions align with Google Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience

• 14+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Solution Design, or Cloud Consulting.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and core services.
• Experience with Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ARM, or Bicep.
• Strong knowledge of Networking, IAM, Security, Storage, Monitoring, Backup, Governance, and Hybrid Connectivity on GCP.
• Experience in cloud assessments, migrations, and enterprise transformation projects.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or PCF is preferred.
• Understanding of Serverless, DevOps, and Microservices architectures.
• Experience in pre-sales, client presentations, PoCs, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is mandatory.
• TOGAF or Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification is an added advantage.
