Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a skilled cloud security engineer with hands-on GCP experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on securing GCP workloads and implementing IAM, network security, monitoring, and compliance controls to protect cloud resources.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelors in CS/IT or equivalent, 2+ years in GCP cloud engineering or security, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GCP cloud engineering or cloud security.
• Strong experience with GCP security services and core security concepts.
• Hands-on expertise in IAM, network security, monitoring, and compliance controls in GCP.
• Strong working knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience securing cloud workloads, storage, compute, and network resources in GCP.
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, policies, and risk management practices.
• Good understanding of logging, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security operations in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
