Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking a mid-level GCP Cloud Engineer to strengthen our security posture in the Hyderabad area. The role focuses on implementing IAM, network security, monitoring, and compliance controls within GCP, while leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code.

The candidate will secure cloud workloads, manage threats, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security operations and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in GCP cloud engineering or security.
• Strong knowledge of GCP security services and core concepts.
• Hands-on IAM, network security, monitoring and compliance controls in GCP.
• Experience with Terraform for IaC and securing cloud workloads.
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, policies and risk management.
• Understanding logging, threat detection, vulnerability management and security operations.
• Good problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities
