Role - AM GCP Cloud Platform Engineer

Work Exp (years): 5-10yrs

Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon Pune / Hyderabad

Work Mode Hybrid – 3 days office

Working Hours: UK Shift – 11-8 PM , 1-10 PM

We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and manage enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform environments.

The role will focus on GCP Landing Zones, Shared VPC, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, cloud governance, security, networking, CI/CD automation, and centralized platform services.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building and supporting secure, scalable, and standardized GCP environments across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement GCP enterprise landing zones and cloud platform foundations.
• Implement and manage GCP Organization, Folders, Projects, IAM and Organization Policies.
• Design and manage Shared VPC architecture, including Host Projects and Service Projects.
• Implement enterprise networking including VPC, subnets, firewall rules, routes, Cloud NAT and load balancing.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for GCP infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage Terraform remote state using Google Cloud Storage with appropriate security and versioning.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Terraform and infrastructure deployments.
• Automate GCP project creation, configuration, onboarding, and policy enforcement.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational controls.
• Implement cloud security controls using services such as Security Command Center, Cloud Armor and IAM.
• Enforce organization-wide security and compliance standards using GCP Organization Policies.
• Support private workloads requiring internet access through Cloud NAT without public IP addresses.
• Work with GCP billing, cost management and FinOps, including Billing Export where applicable.
• Implement event-driven infrastructure automation using services such as Pub/Sub.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to networking, IAM, Terraform, infrastructure and cloud services.
• Develop documentation, architecture standards, operational procedures and cloud governance guidelines.
