Job summary

DataBuzz is seeking a GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer for Hyderabad/Pune with 5+ years of experience. Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments, using IaC and CI/CD practices.

You will work on Terraform, Ansible, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring security, compliance, and robust operations in a 24x7 on-call environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in implementing GCP foundations for deployments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and IaC using Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation/ARM templates.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools and continuous testing frameworks.
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS).
• Solid networking concepts and cloud security/compliance.
• Good Linux admin and scripting in Python/Bash; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities : GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer -Hyderabad/Pune -5+yrs.

Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments

• Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure As Code methods (e.g. Terraform)
• Integrate, configure, deploy and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g. IAM, networking, logging, Operating systems, Containers.)
• Manage SDN in GCP
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security
• Ensure compliancy with Operational risk standards (E.g. Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)
• Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous testing activities
• Engineering activities to implement patches provided centrally
• Support non-functional testing
• Update support and operational documentation as required
• Fault find and support Applications teams
• Ensure good Change management practice is implemented as specified by central standards.
• On a rotational on call basis provide out of business hours support as part of our 24 x 7 coverage

Preferred candidate profile :

• Proven experience in Cloud Service Providers (GCP preferred) Compute, Storage, SDN (VPC, XPN).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and continuous testing frameworks.
• Hands-on with Containerization & Orchestration Docker, Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, AKS), Helm.
• Solid understanding of Networking Subnets, Routing, NAT, SDN.
• Security & Compliance IAM, OAuth, RBAC, Key Vault, Secrets Manager, cloud auditing/monitoring tools.
• Strong Linux administration (preferably Red Hat) and scripting skills in Python, Bash/Shell (additional languages like Ruby, Java, Go are a plus).
• Experience in automation scripting and configuration management.
• Ability to work in Agile environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage risk effectively.

Desired Skills:

• GCP Professional Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer minimum).
• Linux Certification / Windows Server Certification.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., Financial Services) is desirable.
