Job summary

Saxo Group - India in Gurugram is seeking an IT operations professional to monitor services and infrastructure for high availability. You will triage alerts, coordinate investigations, and drive timely resolution across a global environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience with ITSM, ITIL, and monitoring tools (SCOM/SolarWinds). Knowledge of Elastic and Kibana is a plus; a B.Tech/BCA/MCA degree and ITIL v4 or similar certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in IT operations and service management.
• Experience with alert handling and monitoring on enterprise tools.
• Working knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL framework.
• Familiarity with log aggregation and visualization tools like Elastic and Kibana.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and IT service certifications.

Responsibilities

Job description

Location – Gurugram (Onsite)

• Perform continuous monitoring of application services and underlying infrastructure to ensure platform stability and availability.
• Triage incoming alerts, cases, and incidents, and drive follow‑ups for assignment, investigation, and timely resolution.
• Identify recurring issues and raise problem records and problem tasks in line with Problem Management practices.
• Ensure incidents and problems are documented with clear descriptions and accurate Configuration Item (CI) mapping.
• Adhere to established ITSM processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Contribute to AI‑assisted initiatives and continuous operational improvement within GCC.

It will be an advantage if you have knowledge or hands‑on experience within some of the following areas:

• Required experience 5- 7 years
• Alert handling and monitoring on SCOM, SolarWinds or other monitoring tools.
• Working knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow), including incident and case handling, logging, tracking, and updates.
• Understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• Knowledge of Log aggregation and visualization tools, preferably Elastic, and Kibana.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., BCA/MCA or B. Tech, or BBA/MBA with a focus on Business and Data Analytics) and either already possess, or are interested in obtaining, ITIL v4 or similar IT service certifications
