Job summary

Versigent in Pune, India, seeks a Process Excellence Specialist to join our Global Process Excellence team. You will drive continuous improvement and standardization across global operations, serving as SME in O2C best practices.

You will lead diagnostics, apply Lean Six Sigma, map value streams, perform root-cause analysis, and support TOM design with global stakeholders while monitoring KPIs and driving change across ERP and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Process Excellence or Operational Excellence.
• Deep SME in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt desirable.
• Proficient in process mapping tools and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with digital transformation tools (RPA, Process Mining).

Responsibilities

• Lead process analysis to identify inefficiencies and waste in the GBS/SSC environment.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to drive OpEx initiatives and improvements.
• Facilitate value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and design-thinking sessions.
• Monitor KPIs and report on process performance for sustained health.
• Collaborate with O2C teams and GPO to implement target operating models.
• Assess impact of system upgrades and new technologies on O2C workflows.
• Drive change management with cross-functional global teams and IT.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Excellence Specialist to join our Global Process Excellence (PEX) team at our Global Business Services (GBS) center in Pune, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and process standardization across our global operations. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Order-to-Cash (O2C) best practices, you will analyze current state processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement robust, scalable solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead process analysis and diagnostic exercises to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for improvement within the GBS environment.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives.
• Facilitate value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and design-thinking workshops with global stakeholders.
• Monitor, measure, and report on key process performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustained improvement and operational health.
• Collaborate with O2C operations teams and the Global Process Owner (GPO) to design target operating models (TOM) and seamlessly implement process changes.
• Assess the impact of system upgrades or new technology implementations (e.g., AI agents, intelligent automation, process mining) on O2C workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional global teams, IT, and regional business leaders to drive change management and foster the adoption of new processes.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5 - 8 years of experience in Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence, preferably within a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
• Deep subject matter expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and an understanding of modern digital finance practices.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., MS Visio, ARIS, or Lucidchart).
• Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with digital transformation tools (RPA, Process Mining like Celonis is a strong plus).
