Job summary

Absolute Brands & Retail Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager Technical to ensure garments meet defined measurement, fit, construction, fabric, quality, and testing standards.

You will perform hands-on garment inspections, conduct factory/vendor visits, and resolve production-related quality issues. The role requires 2–3 years in garment technical/quality, a relevant fashion technology degree, and strong CAD knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in garment technical, quality, apparel manufacturing, or a similar role.
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Garment Technology, Textile Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of garment measurements, fit, construction, and quality standards.
• Good knowledge of CAD across garment categories.
• Understanding of fabric and garment testing parameters.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and vendor-management skills.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing/vendor locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate garment measurements as per approved specifications and size charts.
• Inspect fabrics and garments at different stages of production and final-ready stages.
• Evaluate garment fit, construction, workmanship, finishing, and overall quality.
• Ensure garments meet required technical and quality standards before approval.
• Identify technical/quality issues and coordinate with vendors for corrective action.
• Conduct factory/vendor visits for garment inspections and quality evaluation.
• Understand and evaluate key fabric and garment testing parameters.
• Work with CAD across different garment categories and review technical specifications.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
