Job summary

Margadarsi Marketing is seeking a Quality Control professional for garment production in Hyderabad. You will establish SOPs for tailoring, assembly lines, and finishing, and set inline and end-line AQL standards for garment construction.

The role requires 3-7 years in quality management, preferably in ethnic wear, with deep knowledge of garment construction, pattern matching, fabric behavior, and experience in AQL, fit analysis, and stitching defect correction.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Garment Technology or Apparel Production.
• Experience: 3–7 years in quality management, preferably in ethnic wear.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern matching, and natural fabric behavior.
• Hands-on expertise in AQL, fit analysis, garment inspection, and stitching defect correction.
• Good understanding of tech packs, measurements, shrinkage, SPI, stitching, and finishing quality.
• Experience in inline and final quality inspections and implementing quality standards.
• Ability to train and guide tailors, line checkers, and finishing teams.

Responsibilities

• Verify garment measurements against tech packs before and after washing.
• Conduct 100% final inspection of tailoring, drapes, and trims.
• Ensure final finishing, ironing, thread trimming, and tag compliance.
