Job summary

Naukripay group seeks an experienced Garment Store In-Charge to manage day-to-day operations of the garment store, including inventory control, stock movement, receiving and issuing materials, documentation, and coordination with production and other departments.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in garment stores or related industries, with strong stock control, ERP/Excel skills, and team leadership abilities. Full-time position based on company needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations and maintain proper stock levels.
• Receive, inspect, count, and record garments, fabrics, trims, accessories, and other materials.
• Maintain accurate GRN, stock registers, issue slips, and inventory records.
• Issue materials to production and other departments as per approved requirements.
• Monitor stock movement and ensure proper storage and identification of materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prevent stock damage, shortage, wastage, and unauthorized movement.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in the store.
• Track slow-moving, excess, damaged, and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.
• Supervise store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
• Ensure all store activities follow company policies and procedures.
