Job summary

ThinkPalm Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Functional Tester with automation exposure and Talent Acquisition (TA) / Talent Management (TM) domain knowledge. The role focuses on QA ownership, functional testing, SQL validation, and AI-driven testing in an Agile setting.

You will design and execute test cases, perform manual and UI testing, and develop basic automation scripts. Strong client-facing communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

Role Overview :We are looking for a Functional Tester with automation exposure who has Talent Acquisition (TA) / Talent Management (TM) domain knowledge and proven client facing experience. The role requires strong ownership of QA activities, functional testing expertise, automation exposure, database validation, and the ability to leverage AI-driven testing practices to improve productivity and quality in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary QA contact for clients, providing clear updates and ensuring timely Epic progress and closure. Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test data, and test scenarios. Perform manual testing across functional, regression, UI, integration, and end-to-end flows. Perform UI testing to validate usability, accessibility, and visual consistency. Develop and execute basic automation scripts to support regression testing. Validate application data using SQL queries and backend checks. Perform basic performance testing to evaluate application responsiveness. Leverage AI-based tools and approaches to improve testing efficiency, Epic validation, and test coverage. Manage Epics, test cycles, and test reporting using JIRA and Zephyr. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and demonstrate proactive quality ownership. Collaborate with development, product, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues. Required Skills 6-8 years of experience in Functional/Manual Testing with automation exposure. Strong domain knowledge in Talent Acquisition (TA) / Talent Management (TM). Proficiency in JIRA, Zephyr, and Agile methodologies. Practical exposure to test automation, preferably using Python or similar frameworks. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Basic understanding of Performance Testing Experience using AI-based tools/approaches in testing to improve productivity and Epic quality. Excellent client communication, stakeholder management, and ownership skills. Good to Have Experience in API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
