LTM in India is seeking a Functional Tester to validate software against business and functional requirements. You will plan tests, design cases, execute various test types, and manage defects to ensure delivery of high‑quality software solutions.

Role Summary
The Functional Tester is responsible for validating software applications against business and functional requirements The role involves test planning test case design execution defect management and collaboration with business analysts developers and stakeholders to ensure delivery of high quality software solutions
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements user stories and functional specifications
Prepare detailed test scenarios test cases and test data
Execute functional integration system regression and smoke testing
Identify log track and validate defects using tools such as JIRA or ALM
Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing
Participate in requirement reviews and sprint ceremonies
Validate endtoend business workflows and user journeys
Collaborate with Business Analysts Developers and Product Owners to clarify requirements
Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders
Support User Acceptance Testing UAT and production validation activities
Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle STLC and SDLC
Experience in Functional Regression Integration and System Testing
Ability to create and execute test cases and test scenarios
Knowledge of defect management processes
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools JIRA ALM Azure DevOps etc
Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
Knowledge of SQL and API testing is an added advantage
