Job summary

Paradigm Ventures is seeking a senior safety engineer to drive ISO26262 activities across vehicle programs in India. You will define safety processes, lead HARA analyses, and approve safety concepts while coordinating DFMEA and test requirements.

You will manage distributed projects, perform RCA investigations, and guide design reviews to ensure robust functional safety for EV/HEV platforms. International experience preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Role Description:

Analyse specific requirements for safety in terms of ISO26262.

Define necessary processes, define working model with clear responsibility chart throughout the process to achieve functional safety requirements.

Conduct and steer relevant activitie necessary out of the defined safety development process for each project

Create and standardasie Safety goals

Conduct and check HARA risk analysis

Reporting

Approve safety concepts

Manage the definition of test requirements.

Prepare the DFMEA chart

Ensure the correct process definition

Manage the introduction of proper chek point and supervise it (Design reviews)

Functional competency:

Prepare the DFMEA chart

Ensure the correct process definition

Excellent leadership skills with experience in building and leading engineering and business teams that may be in multiple locations (International experience preferred)

Management of logistically distributed projects and team

Record of accomplishment of successful vehicle program development experience, including verification, and launch of EV and hybrid systems.

Project management experience

Hands on experience in simulation, preferably mathworks toolchain and/or Scilab, Amesim, Ansys, Opera, Altair, Jmag

Expertise in Mechatronic/Electric/Electronic component testing

Knowledge on requirement management tools (like Doors Reqtify, Codebeamer etc. ) and development toolchains.

Ability to work through RCA (why why, 8D, Ishikawa etc)

Leveraging technologies

Knowledge of basic different electrical measurement tools and test process as well awareness about EV / HV safety standards (CANape, CANalyzer, CANOe etc)

ASPICE process knowledge
