Job summary

Principle Pride is seeking a skilled Functional QA Analyst to join the Loanscape team in Mumbai. You will apply hands-on testing across loan servicing platforms and drive end-to-end QA processes in structured finance and commercial lending.

You will design test scenarios, perform functional testing of LMS, manage defects, and collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. Strong domain knowledge and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA/testing experience in structured finance or loan servicing.
• Experience with Loan Management Systems such as CLS, ACBS, or LoanIQ.
• Ability to translate requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
• Defect tracking with tools like JIRA/HP ALM.
• Knowledge of loan servicing workflows and related financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
• Functional testing of Loan Management Systems (LMS).
• Defect management including logging, tracking, and closure.
• Collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders on test strategies.
• Validate loan origination, disbursement, repayments, and interest calculations.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test summary reports.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing phases.
• Identify and communicate risks and issues related to quality.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Functional QA Analyst with a strong background in structured finance and commercial lending to join our Loanscape team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on testing expertise in loan servicing platforms and a thorough understanding of end-to-end QA processes within the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements in the structured finance / commercial lending domain.
• Perform functional testing of Loan Management Systems (LMS) to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business requirements.
• Conduct thorough defect management activities including defect logging, tracking, prioritization, and closure in coordination with development and business teams.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
• Validate loan servicing workflows, including loan origination, disbursement, repayment schedules, interest calculations, and fee structures.
• Participate in test planning, test estimation, and preparation of test summary reports.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing phases.
• Identify, document, and communicate risks and issues related to quality and testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in QA / Testing within structured finance, commercial lending, or loan servicing domains.
• Proficiency in Loan Management Systems such as CLS, ACBS, LoanIQ, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to write detailed, well-structured test scenarios and test cases from functional and business requirement documents.
• Solid experience in defect management using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of loan servicing processes including syndicated loans, commercial loans, and related financial instruments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the lending domain.
• Prior experience with automation testing tools is an added advantage.
