Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a capable QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years in IT to design, develop, test and deploy backend solutions and to build robust automated testing frameworks.

You will automate tests using Python and Java, work with Selenium WebDriver, and coordinate with 2+ junior team members while keeping documentation up to date and reporting results in real time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT with test automation.

Responsibilities

For our IT center, we are looking for a new, determined and enthusiast colleague who should be responsible for:

• Design, develop, test and deploy software solutions for backend systems
• Establish, monitor and maintain automated testing
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with the automated tests
• Improve existing testing automation or design more efficient testing
• Understand the needs of a product to advise on and design testing strategies
• Compile and report results in an automated manner and in real time

Requirements

• Technical relevant knowledge, IT studies (graduate);
• Relevant experience in test automation and software development, 3+ years relevant experience in IT;
• Design, implement, test, deploy and document backend solutions;
• Knowledge of programming languages Python and Java;
• Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver;
• Knowledge of SO (Windows, Unix);
• Knowledge of GitLab, TestRail or equivalent tools;
• Good command of English, both written and spoken;
• Solution-oriented person, with determination and ability to respect deadlines;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Cooperation and team spirit;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, understanding of business objectives and risks.
• DevOps knowledge and skills are a plus
