Careernet is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java and React to design, develop, and maintain SEO-focused applications from Chennai. You will collaborate with a passionate team to translate user requirements into robust technical solutions and participate in code reviews to ensure high quality.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on Java experience, 2+ years of reactive programming, and a strong foundation in RESTful APIs, cloud platforms, and Agile/Scrum

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years hands-on java experience and React in software development including application development, debugging, and deployment.
• 2+ years of Reactive programming experience (Java 17 or higher versions are preferred).
• 6+ years of progressively complex experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS), including deployment and application management.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development, using tools like Postman or Swagger.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, AKS.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Newrelic, Selenium, JUnit, PyTest).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of security best practices in software development, including securing APIs, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
