Job summary

Allegis Group is seeking a skilled full-stack engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS. You will develop RESTful services, contribute to microservices architecture, and work across the full SDLC with product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot with microservices design.
• REST API development and integration across services.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and ORM (JPA/Hibernate).
• Hands-on cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and CI/CD practices.
• Frontend strong preference for ReactJS with ES6+/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack apps using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
• Build responsive web interfaces with ReactJS and consume RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, and engineers.
• Participate in SDLC from development to deployment and production support.
• Lead code reviews, ensure best practices, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Own Jira stories and deliver high-quality features in cross-functional pods.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
• Build and enhance responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams.
• Participate in application design discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into high-quality technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across front-end and back-end layers.
• Work across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Take ownership of Jira stories and deliver features with high quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate within cross-functional pods consisting of UI, Backend, and Full Stack developers.

Preferred candidate profile

Backend (Mandatory)

• Strong experience in Java
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture
• REST API development and integration
• Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with SQL/Relational Databases
• CI/CD concepts and deployment processes
• Docker and Kubernetes exposure
• Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

Frontend (Strong Preference)

• Extensive experience in ReactJS
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design
• State management libraries (Redux/Context API)
• Front-end performance optimization and debugging
