XO Health Inc. is seeking a front-end–leaning Full Stack Engineer to build provider-facing web applications. You will own the user experience end to end, from component architecture to testing, while contributing to GraphQL APIs and cloud services behind it.
The role focuses on fast, accessible, secure interfaces with micro-frontends and CI/CD in a healthcare context. Remote work from India is supported for a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
XO Health believes healthcare is fixable. Become part of the community changing the face of the industry.
XO Health is the first health plan designed by and for self-insured employers that delivers a more unified health experience for everyone – from those who receive care, to those who deliver it, to those who pay for it.
We are growing a multi-disciplinary team of diverse and digitally empowered employees ready to rebuild trust in healthcare through comprehensive and unified transformation.
XO Health is seeking a front-end–leaning Full Stack Engineer to build the applications that shape a Provider’s experience. You will own the user experience end to end, from component architecture and state management through performance, accessibility, and testing, while contributing to the GraphQL APIs and cloud services behind it. Our back end is GraphQL APIs on a serverless cloud architecture. The ideal candidate is a UI craftsperson who is equally comfortable designing APIs, and who builds interfaces that are fast, accessible, secure, and maintainable at scale.
We’re looking for a front-end–focused engineer to help us build a fast, polished, and intuitive experience for the providers who rely on XO Health every day. You’ll take ownership of key areas of our provider application, such as claims status, eligibility and benefits lookups, authorizations, and provider onboarding, and you’ll care about every detail of how a provider gets their work done.
Beyond technical depth, we want someone who holds a high bar for quality but knows when to move quickly, and who weighs those tradeoffs thoughtfully. You’re high-agency and comfortable with ambiguity. On our team, engineers help shape requirements, query data to see how features are actually used, and take ownership of quality rather than handing it off. You’ll work closely with product, design, operations, and claims stakeholders, and you’ll help raise the bar for other engineers through mentorship and code review.
A healthcare background isn’t required, though it’s a real plus. What matters is that you’re energized by the complexity of the American healthcare system, from claims and eligibility to payer rules and HIPAA, and by the chance to make it simpler for providers.
Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.
