Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a seasoned software engineer to design and build full-stack apps using Java and modern JavaScript. You will craft RESTful services, microservices with Spring Boot, and responsive UIs with React/Angular.

Expect Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD collaboration across cloud platforms. Experience in Salesforce, AI/ML, Azure OpenAI, and Python with AWS/Azure is required, plus a related technical degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience.
• 2+ years of AI/ML experience including Generative AI use cases.
• Experience with AI/ML tools and contract review processes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Search, and AI integrations.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
