Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build and optimize high-performance Rust applications across multiple Pune-area hubs (Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune). You will own cloud-native services on AWS/GCP, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive robust CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong hands-on experience with Rust.
• Solid understanding of backend development and system design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
• Must-have skills Java, Rust, springboot
