Job summary

ExxonMobil Bengaluru seeks a dynamic Full Stack Developer to build and support applications serving our Upstream business. You will craft robust frontend interfaces, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native deployments in Azure, collaborating with global teams.

You bring 6+ years of software development, strong JS/TS skills, and backend expertise in C#/.NET, with experience in Azure, CI/CD, and modern design principles. This role demands hands-on leadership and a passion for scalable, secure software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of front-end development using Angular or React.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Minimum 3 years of back-end development using C#, ASP.NET Core (Web Apps, APIs).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with .NET framework.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud development.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipeline configuration using Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing optimized queries
• Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
• Strong understanding of system design, microservices, monolithic architectures, and serverless computing.
• Ability to debug and profile desktop and web applications to resolve bugs and performance issues.

What role you will play in our team

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Full Stack Developer to join our team at ExxonMobil’s Bengaluru office. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills. You will be responsible for developing and supporting applications that serve ExxonMobil’s Upstream business.

What you will do

The Full-stack Software Developer - Advanced independently delivers functionality across the full application stack, including robust frontend interfaces, backend services, and the supporting cloud infrastructure. This role applies strong understanding of modern UI frameworks, API design, authentication flows, and containerized or cloud-native hosting environments such as Microsoft Azure. Advanced developers design and implement complex features, refactor legacy components, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems. They are trusted to serve as the technical lead for complex applications, driving solution design, ensuring adherence to software development best practices, and coordinating contributions from other developers.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
